Mash Vp! Revision (styled as MASH VP! Re:VISION) is a rhythm game by AXTORM based on mashing songs together, which went into early access on October 11th, 2024. The game's main feature is the ability to play charts of two songs mixed together, which have dedicated charts made for them. The main producers for this game is NAOKI, who also worked on Dance Dance Revolution, Cross Beats and Seven's Code.
Gameplay
The gameplay consists of two lanes converging at the bottom of the screen. Notes fall down both the lanes which need to be hit with the respective buttons. Even though there are two lanes, the game is strictly 2 key or 4 key. Notes can be hit using two rows of keys, each column has two available buttons. This makes it that you can hit notes with a single hand or alternate both hands for the full lane. Besides normal notes, there are also hold notes which need to be held. Side notes, or shift notes, need to be hit by their respective shift key. These side notes also have hold note variants. Perspective changes are generally tied to shift notes. The lanes can also merge into one on occasion.
When a song has been cleared for the first time, on any difficulty, it is also unlocked in the mash-up mode. In this mode you can select two songs to mix them together. Not every song can be mixed together, as the charts are charted for these mixes and the songs mixed together by the producers.
