Genre Vertical Scrolling Rhythm Game

GamePop (or Gpop.io) is a browser-based competitive rhythm game developed by cer0zz. The game focuses on 4-key gameplay, similar to Dance Dance Revolution or Stepmania, with a multitude of custom content and charts created by players.

Gameplay

GamePop consists mainly of 4-key gameplay, with the player using the A, S, D, and F keys to hit nots falling from the top of the screen. A 6-key mode called Tokyo Mode and an aim-based mode called Star Rush are also available.

The main focus of GamePop is its online matchmaking functionality. When selecting Play on the game's menu page, it will join you into a 24/7 open lobby where players can join and leave as they wish. When a song ends in one of these lobbies, players will be able to vote for one of four randomly chosen songs to play next. The song with the most votes wins, and gets loaded up.
