Popira (ポピラ) is a series of plug-and-play rhythm games developed by TAKARA. The game is stands out with its controller designs and bouncing balls gameplay.
Gameplay
Popira gameplay consists of bouncing balls falling from the top of the screen in one of four lanes, towards some platforms at the bottom. With the right timing on button press, the ball will bounce back off the top of the screen. If your timing was off, the ball will only bounce up a little bit and will have to be hit again when it falls down. You start off with 8 lives, represented by music notes. For every miss, you lose a note. When all notes are gone, you are forced to retry the song or quit.
