Genre Vertical Scrolling Rhythm Game

Rizline is a rhythm game developed and published by Pigeon Games. The game revolves around catching falling notes in the judgement orbs.

Gameplay

Notes fall from the top of the screen and must be hit as they reach circles at the bottom. Hits are counted for notes regardless of location of the input on the screen. As such, any input by the player anywhere on screen will cause a note to be hit. Lines also appear in the playfield, usually indicating where notes fall.

Three types of notes exist. Tap notes require a single input at the judgement circles. Hold notes must be held in their entirety at the judgement circle to receive full points. Drag notes only check if an input is made when it hits the judgement line, regardless of timing. Three judgements exist. Hit if the note is hit on time, Bad if the note is hit too early, and Miss if the note is not hit at all.

In order to clear a song, the stamina bar at the top of the screen must not deplete. Getting Misses and Bads will deplete the bar. The only time stamina is regained is during "Riztime", which occur at least once throughout each song. During this time, stamina is regained for every Hit, and Hits are judged as Early or Late. Purchasable mods exist to alter these mechanics.
