Stellights
Stellights (stylized as STELLIGHTS) was a rhythm game developed and published by Collesta, inc released after some delays on January 7th, 2017[1]. It is characterized by it's distinct visual style and it's heavy theming around stars. The game servers were closed some time in 2019 without announcement.
Gameplay
The core gameplay of Stellights involves hitting notes in time to gain score. Notes scroll from the center of the screen to a circular 6 lane judgement line. There are a variety of note types. The standard tap note comes in blue and purple colors. Red tap notes need to be hit simultaneously on both sides. Flick note come with an arrow indicating which direction to swipe in and are light blue. Green hold notes need to be held down until the note ends. Scratch notes are similar to tap notes, but only require to be given any form of input. As such, these play similar to hold notes. These notes are colored yellow. The 2.0 update added a character and leveling system and a hard gauge for all songs on all difficulties that would deplete after 10 Bad or Miss judgements.
Scoring
Pre 2.0, score was based solely on accuracy and combo, using a standard million score system. After the 2.0 update, this was changed to a character based scoring system. Playing with characters at high levels would give better scores. The different accuracy indicators are in decreasing order; Perfect, Great, Bad and Miss.
