Touhou Danmaku Kagura (東方ダンマクカグラ), also known as Danmaku Kagura, is a series of bullet hell rhythm games set in the Touhou franchise. It is the first dedicated Touhou arrangement rhythm game released for smartphones.

Gameplay

Gameplay consists of "Danmaku" and "Kagura". In Danmaku levels, you are essentially playing a Touhou bullet hell. Here you have to dodge intense patterns of bullets while shooting at the enemy at the top of the screen. Your character shoots automatically for you. During the fights, notes will fall on either side of the screen that will need to be hit. These notes can be either short notes or long hold notes. You will have to juggle dodging bullets and collecting falling power ups, while hitting notes on the sides of the screen. Hitting these notes during Danmaku stages are not always required to clear it. In Kagura stages, you are purely playing the rhythm game. This can be 4-key or 6-key in the PC version, or 7-key with crossing over hold notes in the mobile version. Before a starting a stage, a spellcard can be equipped and a character can be selected. These give various bonuses and boosts.
