DJMax Technika (디제이맥스 테크니카) (styled as DJMAX TECHNIKA) is a rhythm game series by Pentavision (later renamed Neowiz) for arcades. The game uses a touch screen and is keysounded. It was released in various countries across the world.

Gameplay

Gameplay consists of two lanes, the bottom one moving left, and the top one moving right. The notes appear on one of the lanes and stay in place, while a bar moves across in the specified horizontal direction. As you're playing in one lane, notes will appear in the other lane for you to prepare for on the way back. Slide notes need to be followed with your fingers by swiping along. Long hold notes need to be held at the start of the note, instead of followed along with your fingers. Long tap notes need to be hit only at the start of the note, while the bar moves along the line of the note, for every pip on the line. Starting with Technika 2, a variation of this note exists where some parts need to be held and some parts need to be tapped, indicated by a thicker long outline around the initial line.
