DJManiax is a browser rhythm game developed in Flash. It is produced by TaroNuke and designed by KoizuDDR. The gameplay is inspired by DJMax Technika.

Gameplay

Gameplay consists of two lanes, the bottom one moving left, and the top one moving right. The notes appear on one of the lanes and stay in place, while a bar moves across in the specified horizontal direction. This game can be played in keyboard mode or mouse mode, which changes the gameplay slightly. In keyboard mode, each row of the keyboard represents a height corresponding color on the lane. You have to press the right row of the keyboard when the bar moves over the corresponding colored note. It does not matter which note in the row is pressed, as long as it is the correct row. Hold notes need to be held by at least one key in the row. Long timing notes need to be hit multiple times, as indicated by the number on the note. In mouse mode you aim and click with your mouse on the note that touches the center of the moving bar. Hold notes need to be dragged along with the moving bar. Long timing notes need to be hit multiple times, but the spot you need to click with the mouse is the original position of the note, not where the bar is currently at. Once the bar reaches the end of the lane, it appears in the other lane on the other half of the screen. There it moves in the opposite direction, repeating this cycle until the end of the song. In mouse mode you can also use a graphics tablet.
